Unlike traditional aesthetic education products, the app combines games and art learning to explore ceramic art. Inspired by Canton Famille Rose, where white ceramics from Jingdezhen were painted in Guangzhou and exported globally, the game lets children recreate this process. They select a white ceramic model, paint it with vibrant colors and patterns, and refine details by zooming and rotating the 3D model. Finished creations can be shared in the app's community, blending creativity with cultural appreciation.
This project is a simple OpenGL program for a children’s aesthetic education app, simulating Cantonese-style ceramic painting. Users can draw 2D patterns (lines, circles, rectangles) with adjustable colors and map them onto 3D ceramic models, resizing, rotating, and adjusting textures. It covers OpenGL basics like shaders and transformations, with plans to add more shapes, textures, and lighting effects.
