When the jellyfish moves, it is like hot air balloons swelling one by one, stretching and aimless swimming, which is extremely beautiful. I use a pneumatic device to achieve a feeling similar to the breathing of marine organisms, which includes two air pumps, silicone trachea, an electronic valve and an arduino uno control board.
Firstly, I attempted to conduct fabric redesign experiments in the 25 * 25 area. The inspiration for the first work comes from Van Gogh's starry sky, decorated with charred hemp rope, various pearls, and sequins. The inspiration for the second work comes from jellyfish in the ocean, using pneumatic devices in the interlayer to achieve a feeling similar to the breathing of marine organisms. The third piece of work is inspired by the beautiful light strip formed by nighttime traffic flow. White and red alternating light effects are achieved using WS2812 light strips and an Arduino Uno control board. The fourth piece is inspired by white and fluffy clouds, using hard metal mesh to fold and transform shapes, showcasing artistic tension.
After experimenting in a 25*25 area, I applied these redesigned fabrics to handbags.
